Our Shipping Policy
Reptiles and amphibians are all shipped via overnight delivery to your doorstep for a flat $49.99 regardless of how many animals are on your order. For example, if you order one iguana the shipping cost is $49.99, and if you order 100 iguanas the shipping cost is still just $49.99. The quantity, weight, and species of animal is irrelevant.
Feeder cricket and fruit fly orders are shipped via overnight UPS, most other feeder insects are shipped via 2–3 day priority USPS, including roaches, ants, earthworms, mealworms, waxworms, hornworms, etc.
All of our live reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate order deliveries require a signature at the destination address (feeder orders do not). If no one will be available to receive the delivery, you can opt to have the package held for you at your local FedEx/UPS/USPS facility where you can pick it up directly.

If you order after 2pm Monday, we ship Monday to arrive Tuesday.
If you order Friday, Saturday, Sunday, we ship Monday.
OVERNIGHT SHIPPING IS NOT FULFILLMENT TIME!
We fulfill your order usually in a day, and ONCE IT IS FULFILLED, then we ship and it will arrive overnight.
Tracking numbers will be emailed after 6pm Est
WEATHER OR OTHER ISSUES MAY CAUSE DELAYS.
All roach, ant, earthworm, giant mealworm, mealworm, and waxworm orders are sent via USPS priority 2–3 day delivery; generally with tracking only provided upon request. Feeder orders placed after 12pm PST on Wednesday will be shipped the following Monday (to ensure the insects do not sit in a facility over the weekend). If you order feeder insects on a live reptile, amphibian, tarantula, or scorpion order, please remember that your feeders will arrive separately.
We will e-mail you a tracking number (with the exception of crickets) once it becomes available to us on the evening your order is shipped (usually by 8pm EST). Please reference the shipping schedule above to note when to expect it (the “Ships on” day). Orders placed on a Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday will be shipped the following day. If your order was placed on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, it will be shipped the following day.
Our boxes are packaged safely and securely by experts who have been shipping reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates for many years.
Inventory Management
We work hard to keep our website fully updated with current reptile, amphibian, and invertebrate stock levels. However, there are times when we receive multiple orders for the same animal, or our website just does not get updated quickly enough. In either case, we will notify you if we are unable to fulfill your order.
Special Notes
We do deliver to P.O. Boxes, for all orders.
We cannot hold orders for delivery at a future date. Orders are shipped in accordance with the shipping schedule.
Shipment delays do occur infrequently, and you will be notified if this does take place, generally due to inclement weather.
Unfortunately, we do not ship internationally, which means no country outside the United States of America. We ship to every U.S. state except Hawaii. We do not ship to Canada.
There are no deliveries on major U.S. holidays such as New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Wildlife Laws
Each U.S. State has seemingly innumerable wildlife laws, and we do our due diligence in striving to adhere to each and every one. We will never knowingly ship reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates in violation of any federal, state, or local law. Do your research before placing an order, and do not ask us to make an exception.
Cancellation Policy
Orders can be easily canceled prior to shipment. However, if the package ships, the order cannot be canceled and no refund will be made. We will do all we can to work with you in these situations.

No Cancellation Policy
Once a live animal order is placed, it is a commitment to purchase. We cannot under any circumstances cancel a live reptile order. Our workflow absolutely prohibits the ability to cancel so be sure you are certain of what you are purchasing before you submit your order. Thank you.
SPECIAL NON-GUARANTEED SHIPPING DAYS
Dec 21 & 22 are the Last Ship Days before Christmas and FedEx has extremely high volume. On these days there are No Animal Guarantees Provided. Shipping on one of these days is 100% at your own risk.
SEXING REQUESTS AND OPTIONS
All sexing is completed by extremely capable and experienced staff, however no gender identification is 100% so we use “best efforts” to provide you with the gender you order but there are no implicit guarantees on this service. When you pay $10 for our sexing service, we provide our “best efforts” to determine the gender of the animal. However, in the event you receive an animal that is not the gender you requested we cannot, under any circumstances refund, exchange or compensate you in any way. We appreciate you understanding the complexity that often goes with identifying the sex of many animals.
SIZING
Sizing is always approximate, terms such as hatchling, baby, small, medium, large, juvenile, sub-adult or adult are used as guides and points of reference only. However, all animals grow at different rates so there may be differences in the size of the animal you receive. There are never any guarantees on the actual size of an animal shipped.
FEEDER INSECT POLICY
NOTE: While we use proper packaging methods and boxes for live insects there are no live arrival guarantees on any live feeder shipment that goes via priority mail. If you would like a guarantee we have an option to overnight deliver your insect shipment for $30. Please contact us and we will invoice you for the overnight fees.

When you order a reptile from UNI REPTILES HOME you are going to get a healthy top quality pet. However, it is up to you to educate yourself on how to care for your new pet. Often, small changes in the reptile, frog or insect’s environment will correct or prevent health issues. When an issue appears do not wait to attempt to correct it as even a single day could make a major difference.
If you ever have a question about a pet you purchased from us with regards to heating, lighting, enclosures, diet, etc. we are more than happy to provide you with our expert advice. However, we are not veterinarians and cannot prescribe or provide you with a consultation on medications. If your pet is ill you should visit your local veterinarian who specializes in reptiles and exotic creatures.
